You may have heard it said like this. “Keep declaring that no weapon formed against you will prosper. Then you will not die. Satan cannot touch you.”

It sounds bold. It sounds like faith. And it comes from a real verse.

But is that what the verse says? Let’s read it slowly.

What the verse says

“No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and you will refute every tongue that accuses you. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their vindication is from Me,” declares the LORD (Isaiah 54:17).
