What Is True Worship, Really?

When we hear the word worship, most of us picture a Sunday morning. We think of singing songs, lifting our hands, or sitting quietly in a church building. We think of music, instruments, and emotional moments. But Jesus redefines worship completely. True worship is not a place, a style of music, or a religious performance. True worship is union with Christ (1 Corinthians 6:17).
