Who Will Condemn You? | Apostolic Wisdom Daily Manna

"Who is there to condemn us? For Christ Jesus, who died, and more than that was raised to life, is at the right hand of God, and He is interceding for us." (Romans 8:34, BSB)

Imagine you get a heavy fine. You walk into the office, shaking. And the officer behind the desk is the very person who paid it for you. He tears up the paper and says, "It's finished." That's what Paul is describing here. The court is in session. The accuser stands up. And the only One with the right to judge you is the One who died in your place. Look at the four things Paul says about Christ. He died. More than that, He was raised. He is at the right hand of God. And He is interceding for us. Each one answers the charge. The Jewish people knew the picture of a priest standing for them. Once a year, the high priest went behind the veil with blood. He stood there for a short time, then came out. He stood because the work was never done.
